Wonderful stay with wonderful hosts

This place was really lovely. The house is incredibly homey, the room was large with comfortable beds, the shower was newly renovated and comfortable, the breakfast was generous and the host was incredibly accommodating to our needs!

We were greeted warmly by the hosts. The breakfast was a wonderful start to our day. Bed was great!

The breakfast was amazing, and we enjoyed sharing the table with other guests from other countries. The host was so attentive and helpful. Our bed was the most comfortable of our 13-day stay in France. There were restaurant suggestions for dinners, and the host alerted us to those who were closed on Monday. We speak French, so it was a bit easier to communicate with our hosts, but their English was fine. Delightful, quiet and peaceful location.

Magnifico

We don’t know where to start, it’s been like walking on a dream: we love the traditional French style of the bedroom with this huge and comfortable bed and roomy bathroom, the surrounding garden is impressive, Luciano (the host) is a genuine and kind person and the accommodation is at a few minutes walking from the Monet’s jardin. The breakfast in the winter garden was awesome, we really recommend Luciano’s omelette with bacon. Grazie mille !

Luciano is an exceptional host - we absolutely loved our stay at his beautiful house. The gardens are lovely, and our little dog enjoyed running around. The breakfast was also perfect, with a delicious omelette prepared fresh by Luciano.

We loved our stay in the unique and charming inn.

This is a lovely spot on the edge of Giverny, an easy walk but away from tourist crowds. The setting is serene with many trees and a pond. Our room was simply furnished, but large and comfortable. The bathroom was huge by European standards. Our host, Luciano, was delightful. The breakfast, with croissants, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and Luciano’s bacon omelette, was delicious. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

In very hot weather, lack of air conditioning could be a problem. But our room, with a fan, stayed quite comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay here on a visit to Giverny. A lovely historic property, with a very comfortable and characterful room, great hosts and delicious breakfast! It is set in its own grounds, has parking and is just a short stroll (15-20 minutes) from the sites of Giverny. VERY highly recommended indeed.

I cannot imagine that Giverny has a more pleasant place to stay.

The house is set in an attractive shady garden. There is ample parking space. The breakfasts, in the delightful conservatory, were excellent, and Luciano's bacon omelettes are definitely not to be missed! Luciano is a most agreeable and amusing host, and we benefited greatly from his suggestions and advice. Our room had a most efficient electric fan, which kept us cool during the very warm nights. And a table, chairs and sunshade were provided, so that we could sit outside.

La Pluie de Roses is a beautiful inn, and our host, Luciano, was very considerate and charming. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning in a delightful space with homemade omelette, fresh croissant and baguettes, juices, and fruit. Our room was spacious and clean, and the grounds are gorgeous - perfect setting to grab charcuterie from a nearby market and eat outdoors. The inn is very close to the Monet house and gardens, as well as the Museum of Impressionism in Giverny. It is truly a wonderful place to stay. We rented a car and drove to Vernon, Rouen, Bayeux, Omaha Beach, and Honfleur over the course of our visit, with easy access to the routes. Luciano has a very cute little dog, Marcello, who also came to greet us at breakfast each morning, much to our delight! We highly recommend this charming location.

Delightful secluded B & B

It was a hot afternoon when we arrived and we were greeted by a charming young lady who showed us where to park. Our room was delightful and secluded with a patio in the garden. The fan was running keeping the room comfortably cool and was just perfect. Our charming host and his friendly little dog made us most welcome and the breakfast was lovely.

In our view there is nothing to improve. We would love to come back for a longer stay next time.
