Cozy, winter home

It was really cozy and comfortable. I can only imagine how great it is during winter months. And too bad that we were there when the restaurant wasn’t working. We were looking forward to having dinner there.

What a great place!

Everything about this hotel was great! Free parking on site was a bonus. The location was perfect for both walking around town and driving to sights/trails/etc. Breakfast was very good...breads, meats, eggs, sausage, lots of variety. We also had dinner one night in the restaurant, which was so tasty. We would absolutely stay here again!

We liked everything about this hotel, but just a couple FYIs that could make a difference to someone...no elevator and no air conditioning or fans.

This place was definitely the best place to stay in Kranjska Gora! Can’t recommend this place enough! It was so cozy, the room was very romantic and clean, cute little balcony. Well located, and close to good hiking trails. The staff was very sweet. Would definitely go back.

They are the best

We loved Gostilna Pri Martinu; the room was so beautifully arranged and cosy, and a beautiful view of the Slovenian Alps. There is a place where the bicycles can be safely accommodated too. The breakfast was lovely. We also had dinner in the restaurant, and it was one of the best dinners we had in Slovenia. The staff was also so knowledgeable and hospitable. They advised us on which bicycle road to take to the lake Bled. Also, the staff was so hospitable, not pretentious, but full of care and made our visit even more joyful. And not to forget to mention, excellent location too.

Just one night not more

Excellent location in Krjanska Gora right to the start of Vrsic pass (Russian Road) which is a must for motorcyclist or bike enthusiasts. There are a good pizzeria in town.

We arrived on Monday and the whole building was closed however our arrival time was confirmed in advance (it was 5 pm, so nothing special). After a 15 mins waiting we finally got the keys. Restaurant was also closed in the house (but there were several others in the town). I would have liked to stay in the room until 11.00 on Tuesday but it was refused.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Gostilna pri Martinu. The room was spacious and had everything you would expect it to have (even a little kettle for boiling water). Bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious (eggs, oats, bagels, marmalade, butter, croissants… coffee and tea of course). The staff was friendly and helpful. The whole space gives vibes of being in a mountain cabin and I just loved that.

Cozy and relaxed

Room had that special Alpine feel to it, with beautiful view if the mountain. The staff was friendly and cool and the food was sooo delicious. I came for a trail race and room was perfect for me to get proper rest after a challenging day.

just a brilliant stay. traditional inn downstairs with really great trad Slovenian food. very well priced. rooms were beyond what I expected for the price. can’t fault it.

Staff friendly. Good sized room and bathroom. Very busy inn for meals as these were varied and tasty with large portions and good value for money.
