Strange Casino Hotel Stay

The town and surrounding valley is beautiful there is restaurants and basic activities available around. The rooms are generally spacious, as well as the bathrooms. There is 24/7 reception and a decent breakfast buffet.

This is basically a casino with an adjacent hotel, that's the "entertainment" part in the name. While it seems well maintained and visited, the rooms have an underlying air of having been used. Our couch and chair had massive stains on the fabric. The whole façade is lit in blue LED light throughout the night which is rather annoying when trying to sleep with an open door or window. The surroundings are very basic, no plants or privacy shield toward the street from the terrace. The restaurant has a nice view toward the town, but the part with the view is not open for breakfast, but rather a part toward the Casino, which seems like an odd choice. The sauna, gym and spa usage is not clear, not explained and not written anywhere. There is so many cameras everywhere (due to casino activity supposedly), and some weird, unfriendly guests / characters hanging around. The staff are friendly and trying their best, but if you don't fancy a Casino stay / visit, avoid this hotel.

Great hotel with fantastic location

The location is excellent. The view is beautiful. Everything is in the near, there are restaurants, coffees, shops approx 2-300 m far away from the hotel. There are hiking trails started from the hotel. The staff was really kind.

Relating to the wellness, only the sauna is available in the hotel. There is wellness opportunity in other 2 hotels with free entrance. ( Hotel Ramada and Hotel Spik). But among the photos of the hotel, there is a picture about a jakuzzi/pool. It was a little bit disappointing that this is not an option there.

Ideal hotel in Krajnska Gora

Parking lot right next to the hotel, spacious room with bath, quiet, clean and comfortable!

The breakfast was rather limiterd (small buffet) but good quality.

Beautiful rooms, very clean and extensive breakfast buffet. I also enjoyed the free parking and proximity to Kranjska Gora town center (which is lovely)

Great stay in Kranjska Gora

Note: we did not choose this hotel for the casino facilities, but for it's good quality/price ratio for its rooms. This hotel was the most surprising one in our Slovenian trip. Since it's casino hotel, we were expecting a lot more noise and potentially dodgy vibes, however we were pleasantly surprised to find a nice, quiet hotel, with good amenities for those who also wanted to use the casino. Parking: ample parking in multiple places, close to the entrance or just in front of the rooms. We felt safe leaving our rental car there. Room: Spacious, clean, renovated and with lots of wood! Super comfy bed, lights and plugs close to the bed, ample space to leave your luggage and belongings, desk and chair available if you had to sit down and work, good wifi, extra couch and table in case you don't want to sit on the bed. It had top to bottom windows that isolated really well, and a nice view towards a river and mountains. The bathroom was big and clean, and although it had a bit of a smell at times, we did not feel it in the room. Food/Breakfast: We had free breakfast included in the room price, and it was good and filling. Even though it was the same everyday, you could easily just eat one thing every day and not get bored with it. Staff: The staff in this hotel is very professional, friendly and they speak excellent English, as well as other languages. They're easy going and always available to help. Surroundings: The hotel is good looking and comfortable, but the surrounding area takes the prize. Mountains, forests, lakes and rivers are all within walking distance. The highest pass, Vrsic is also close by, and we definitely recommend you drive on it and go on a hike in the surrounding mountains, you won't regret it! Bonus: we were given some cards that we could use for going to the pool of another hotel in the same town, 10 min walking distance. The pool was huge, the space was clean and there were not many people there. Excellent

Room is spacious, modern and clean. Staff is polite and helpful. Restaurant is clean and modern, breakfast has all what you need except croisant😉.

Missing air-conditiong in the room. It was not possible to open the window during night, because there are just balcony door and if you open it, you are literally outside in a parking lot. Breakfast was completely terrible and uneatable. As a bonus there were mice running in the restaurant.

Location was good, room facilities were decent and breakfast was great considering all things COVID.

The air con - there were some vents but nothing really worked. The room got quite hot at night and we really struggled to sleep. We tried calling the reception and no one answered.

Nice, modern, big and clean rooms. Very nice personnel. City center, restaurants and rental stores within walking distance.

Due to the coronavirus, the rooms were not cleaned and the breakfast options were limited. Given the circumstances not something the hotel could do something about.

Ottima struttura con parcheggio privato. Al nostro arrivo lo staff è stato gentilissimo; avevo fatto un errore con la prenotazione ma mi hanno subito risolto il problema. La nostra stanza era molto grande con balcone e vasca da bagno. Pulizia buona, colazione discreta. Nel complesso mi sono trovato benissimo. Ci tornerei volentieri.

Forse per un hotel del genere migliorerei la colazione; soprattutto i dolci non sono eccezionali.

Haben in diesem Hotel schon sehr oft übernachtet; Ambiente, Zimmer, Personal alles in Ordnung. Frühstück wechselhaft, es kommt darauf an welcher Kellner, Kellnerin zuständig ist.
