The cottage was in a perfect location and felt like home from home. We had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy. The only issue was shower pressure but this is probably an area thing.

Location is perfect! Glenridding is a charming village with lovely hikes, pubs and restaurants around.
The bedsheets were a bit thick (still had winter bedsheets on when we had a very hot weekend in the summer)

The cottage itself from the outside is pretty, and it is in a great location.
Very basic and old inside, very creaky floorboards, the cottage has not been updated.
The radiators/heaters are very difficult to use, couldn’t get them hot when we wanted to and so the cottage was quite cold when we were in.
