We had a nice stay overall. Convenient location and plenty of space. Generally clean and well appointed.

The entranceway had a strong damp smell, the first floor toilet took about half an hour to refill, the stairs to the top floor were extremely steep. Realistically only space for one car, the garage door is too small to fit an average sized car through. Bed was really creeky. Ironing board and iron both need replacing.

Property in great location, very spacious, excellent facilities and very clean and comfortable.

Really comfortable, sociable space, ideal for our party of eight. We cooked together some nights and the kitchen was well equipped. It was useful having a boot room to keep wet coats/muddy shoes downstairs. We could fit around the dining table to eat and relax in the lounge. The beds were very comfy too! Cockermouth had nice walks to do with our two dogs and a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops.
