Eildon Lodge, a detached holiday home, consists of a kitchen with breakfast bar, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer, a dining room with dining seating for 8, a sitting room with Smart TV with Sky, and a conservatory. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size with en-suite, king-size with en-suite, double, and ground-floor twin. There is a bathroom with bath and basin and WC and a bathroom with corner bath, walk-in shower, and basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn and patio and off-road parking for three cars. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Town: The small village of Gosforth sits amongst beautiful Lakeland countryside and consists of a scattering of traditional cottages, farm dwellings, and pubs serving good food. The village forges links far back into the history books and proudly shows the tallest, and oldest Viking Cross in England, plus the church holds many treasures not least the amazing Hogsback Tombs. Close by are the towering peaks of Scafell - England's highest peak, as well as Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell, whilst the nearby valleys of Eskdale, Wasdale and Dunnerdale provide breathtaking scenery. There are many local attractions in the area including Muncaster Castle, the World Owl Centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway. This great location has something for everyone.
