    Unpleasant smell at the room. People love to dry their clothes inside the room. It is very disgusting. It just cost TWD 70 for drying by using the drying machine! *No air purifier here

    Comfortable stay. I stayed in a private room and it was very clean and just like staying in a hotel but with the hostel social experience. This is a very social hostel, complete with a WhatsApp group to chat with other residents

    There’s nothing terrible about this place, so I wouldn’t dissuade anyone from staying here, but I didn’t find it particularly stood out to me. It was clean enough but there was a certain lack of attention to details, like there was grime build up in the nooks and crannies, mold seemingly painted over on the shower ceiling etc. It seemed like a lot of people who stayed here had not stayed at hostels before or just don’t care about etiquette in terms of lights and noise in the middle of the night. Not enough bathroom/shower/sink space for the number of people on my floor which was pretty annoying. Staff were nice, but it’s more of a corporate hotel reception vibe, which is fine, but the person I asked about the breakfast options didn’t really seem to know what each place had, which would have been helpful. Beds were pretty comfy. The breakfast coupons was sort of mixed for me, one place up the road was really good, but others were not as good, and i got kind of tired of going to the same place and would have liked to just go try other places without coupons but didn’t want to not use the coupons. I met up with a friend in taipei so didn’t try to integrate with the social scene, but it seemed like there was a big group of people hanging out who met at the hostel, so it might be a good choice if that’s what you are looking for. I didn’t really find them super friendly to people who were not already in their group though, so who knows.
