I stayed here a few times during my trip to Taipei. Given how busy Ximending is, the hotel was quiet - I didn’t hear any street noise. It was very clean, staff were helpful and all the amenities were good - nice showers, fridge, kettle, hairdryer etc.
There was nowhere to put away any clothes apart from a few hangers and not enough floor space to leave a suitcase open so unpacking was tricky.
Although the garden view rooms are nice and - particularly at the 409 end of the corridor - the view is light and green - the windows are in the bathroom and so you don’t have the view from the bed / chair.

Great location, clean and bright. Friendly staff, 24 hour reception, comfortable with relaxed atmosphere and very welcoming. Washing machine facilities (costs a little extra). Modern facilities and TV with streaming. Everything was great for a family stay. Also the rabbit 🙂
Nothing except one concern when I asked for a cab and gave the correct address but the staff wrote down a similar but wrong address for the taxi, and it was on the other side of town - unfortunately I missed a meeting 😬
I understand this was an accidental error.
