    very close to ximen station. very accomodating staff and hospitable. its an old hotel but still feel luxury the vibe of the room.

    We had a wonderful stay at Fu Chang Hotel. The location is very convenient—just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the famous Ximending area. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel has a slightly older design, and the TV is not a smart TV, but everything is well-maintained and in good condition. It never affected our comfort during our stay. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. They were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and caring. Even though we booked at the last minute, the price was still very reasonable. Before we left for the airport, they even helped us arrange a taxi and personally came downstairs to make sure we got on safely. That level of care and service made us feel very welcome and valued as guests. Overall rating: 10/10. Highly recommended! 👌🏻✨

    The hotel was decent, but I found the location less convenient compared to other nearby options. There are several hotels in the area that are more affordable and even include complimentary breakfast and snacks. One thing to note is that the elevator is located on the second floor, so guests need to carry their luggage up a flight of stairs before they can access it. This may be inconvenient, especially for those traveling with heavy baggage. Considering the price, I believe there are better alternatives nearby that offer a more convenient location and better overall value for money.

    The reason I still recommend it is because you do save a certain amount of money by being here that you wouldn’t get at another place. I cannot emphasize enough how great the staff is. Always kind, willing to help and accommodate, and always greeting us good morning and good evening. However, the facilities aren’t up to par. It’s older, there’s some damages here and there, and there was a smell of cigarettes that unfortunately persisted throughout our entire stay. One of the only redeeming factors is their separation of dry and wet areas in their bathrooms, which was a huge importance for me. It was particularly difficult to find affordable hotels that can make that accommodation. With that being said, I actually thought the location was alright. Close enough to the main Ximen area where the hustle and bustle is, but just far enough away to get away from the madness. You’re also right in front of a temple, which I found to be a great blessing to see every morning and every evening. So keep in mind what the pros and cons are. If your focus is spending money more on experiences and the activities Taiwan has to offer and less on the quality of your hotel, then yes, please come to FuChang Hotel. The people who work there are excellent. They will do what they can do to make your stay as best as possible. And we will never ever forget how great they were. However, if you put a lot of importance on your hotel experience, then it would be worth looking somewhere else.
