House Milan

The apartment was in the most adorable setting and the hostess was very kind. It was walking distance to entrance 1 of the park-maybe 10-15 minutes and you don’t need to walk on the busy highway either. We loved the kitchen space to make our own food. We would return again!

Shower base/tub was tight

We booked a night at House Milan so we can go to Plitvice NP early in the morning where we booked 8am entry tickets. Upon arriving at the guest house, our host, Milka, was there to greet us and show us our room. It was impeccably clean and the view of the surrounding gardens and neighboring guesthouses was so charming and idyllic. We told Milka of our plans to visit the parks early in the morning and she was so kind to let us park our rental car while we explored Plitvice. We shopped for the next day's breakfast and snacks at the Tommy supermarket, about a 7-minute drive away. Later in the evening, we walked to the entrance of Plitvice to see how far it was on foot from our guesthouse. It was an easy walk, probably took only 10 minutes walking through the park's parking lots. The next day, we checked out of our room, left our stuff in our car and explored Plitvice. It is such a beautiful and amazing park! We were so glad we stayed at House Milan so we could experience the parks earlier in the day and enjoy it while it wasn't too crowded yet. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay another night. We had an excellent stay and would love to come back here again next time. Thank you, Milka!

Nothing, everything was great!

Superclean appartment. Well equipted. Very good bed. Quiet place. One restaurant at 50m. Close to entry 1 of the park.

Didn't realize there was a hard cut-off time for check-in, and when we got delayed due to getting lost/hitting traffic, host almost didn't allow us in. She seemed (understandablly) very annoyed with us, but kindly stayed awake until we arrived to let us in!
