Beautiful setting and friendly welcome

Comfortable room in an excellent quiet setting. We had breakfast on the terrace with a fabulous view down the valley. Plenty of room to park. Very friendly host.

Excellent breakfast with home made treats and beautiful spaces

Beautiful rooms and lavish grounds to walk and enjoy the spectacular views. Nice clean rooms with patios to sit outside and have time together.

The rooms could use more towels in the bathrooms for hand and face as staff only provided one body towel and no others.

A pleasant and relaxing break on a long journey, ideal for a summer’s evening.

Beautiful surroundings after a long day in the car. Friendly and helpful welcome. Benches and tables to enjoy own picnic on a summer’s evening, ideal when travelling with dogs. Good space for parking near to rooms.

Room warm (but not oppressively so on what was a very hot day/evening) as no obvious air conditioning.

Lovely place and hosts, we had a good stay.

The grounds of the manor are lovely, the manor itself was stylish. The rooms besides it, where we stayed, were all looking fine, our room was modern and nice to stay in. But the main thing was that the hosts were geniuely lovely; super friendly an genuine, we appreciated that (thanks for the tomatoes from the garden ;))

If we have to be picky, maybe savory breakfast options, like eggs or fresh cheese? But lovely to eat handmade cake/yoghurt

Disappointing

Nice setting, decor in room OK.

Breakfast consisted of a croissant, some jam, few pieces of bread, orange juice and tea or coffee ... no fruit or cheese. Room needed Air conditioning (especially in 42 degree heat!) a fridge in room, more substantial breakfast for €111 euros per night (also no reduction for kids)

Breakfast was very nice, but didn't feel comfortable sitting with other strangers for our meal

the noise from the flat above was disturbing.Heels on a wooden floor. The tv channel canal+ went off as we were about to watch a football match[it was freely included at the Ibis styles hotel for 50 euros less.]

One of the kindest host I've ever met, loved the talks during breakfast. I accidentally booked the wrong room (without kitchen) but I could change without problem,. The garden is huge and beautiful, the apartment was nice and tidy, equipped with everything I needed.

Ideal stopover on the way south of France, or back to the UK.

This hotel was the best I have stayed in in a long time. It reminded me of some 5 stars hotel without the pool, the staff, the big brand..... It is located in beautiful ground. Menil, the owner, the receptionist, the gardener, could have her own programme like the "escape to the chateau", she has done everything herself. Such an inspiration!

Wij koment er zeker nog terug indien de gelegenheid zich voordoet.

De rustige ligging aan de mooie tuin. De goede ontvangst van de gastvrouw. Lekker ontbijt met aangename babbel met gastvrouw. Kamer was ook zeer stil gedurende de nacht.

Schönes Quartier mit Herrenhaus u. großem Park

Modernes Doppelzimmer mit Bad u. eigener kleiner Terrasse im großen Park eines alten Herrenhauses. Sehr schönes Anwesen ca. 2 km ausserhalb von St.-Pierre-du-Vauvray. Sehr gutes kont. Frühstück im schönen Ambiente des Manoirs. Sehr freundliche Besitzerin. Sie machte für uns am Abend ein gutes Abendessen, das wir draußen im Park einnehmen konnten.

Fahrradfahrer ohne Motor sollten wissen, dass das Quartier vom Ort nur nach einem längeren Anstieg erreichbar ist. Für e-Bike-Fahrer natürlich sowieso kein Problem.

L'accueil de Madame Ying, le petit déjeuner copieux et varié. La propreté des chambres mises à disposition, le calme du parc très bien entretenu.

Idéal pour une pause week-end !

L’endroit est bien situé, entre Château-Gaillard et Giverny et plusieurs bonnes tables aux alentours. Le parc est agréable et il n’y a aucun bruit. Ying est très accueillante et un sens aigu de l’hospitalité l’anime.
