BEAT Arts Hostel at Chinatown

The location is very good.

Less facilities, too crowded

Right in front of a mosque and halal beriyani restaurant, very convenient

Shared toilet but you get used to it

Location is great, close to temples, food centers, chinatown and walkable distance to marina sands.

Weird vibe, people getting in and out of the room every hour at night, lots of shouting from customers on common areas and just not the most appealing vibe. Lacks basic stuff like complimentary towels or shampoo/soap on showers. Room and hallway extremely humid, I slept all soaked because of this. I barely had any rest, left on my second night (out of 3 that I paid) with no refund, but I needed to sleep somewhere else.

the bed was comfy and the room itself was very clean. other facilities were slightly cramped and decently clean. the location was very good and close to several restaurants and metro stations

i informed the property in advance that i would need to do late check-in at 2am, which they assured me was no problem. when i arrived at the hostel they had not left my keys out, and i was unable to access my assigned room in the middle of the night...
