Really enjoyed my weekend break at Maria Giovanna Guesthouse in Gozo. It is a beautiful traditional Maltese townhouse full of character, with lovely original tiles and charming old-fashioned iron-frame beds that made the room feel warm and authentic.
Sonia is such a wonderful host. She made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived, and her kindness really made my stay extra special. The two ladies who work there are also incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Sonia's father is such a sweet gentleman.
One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast. Every morning there was something different to enjoy, with a variety of delightful homemade dishes.
Thank you once again for your warm hospitality. I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Maria Giovanna Guesthouse to anyone visiting Gozo. I look forward to return.

Very stylish decor of the rooms and common areas, you can feel the traditional Maltese vibe. High ceilings, comfortable beds. Very clean. Amazing rich breakfast. Very nice hosts.

Good breakfast and location.
The bathroom door kept sliding out open (privacy) and we could hear water running in the pipes (noise). It would be nice to have a fridge in the room. There was an elevator in the building, but there are also half floors that you need to take stairs to use to get to your room.

A real traditional feel. I stayed in the triple and loved the space and having a couch It felt more like a little apartment then just a room and it was a wonderful place to hang out in. I slept extremely well and any noise didn't come through to disturb me. Very kind friendly staff.
The soap dispenser in the bathroom was tricky. I would have liked more fresh fruit options at breakfast. I found the breakfast room so hot and a fan should really be in that room
