The hotel was lovely, warm and charming, with a great blend of traditional alpine and modern chic. The staff were all lovely, the food was amazing, and the restaurant staff were all super attentive to dietary requirements. The spa was absolutely fantastic - one of the best I've seen in a ski hotel. And the vault pool with spring water - magical. The rooms were really lovely - simply but beautifully done in light alpine wood, very classic and tasteful, and very modern bathroom.
The ski room was a bit small, so often it was hard to find a slot for our skis, and we weren't even there in high season. If you are advanced skiers and want to be spending long days whizzing around the Sellaronda, Santa Cristina is a little bit off it, so you need to spend about 20 mins in the morning reaching the main route. But it's very quaint and charming, and honestly not much hassle.

La camera era fredda, il termosifone o il termostato rotti, ho dovuto chiedere una stufetta la prima ser, per averla è passata una bella mezzora, e alla seconda notte non avevano risolto, quindi mantenuta la stufetta, ma nessuna informazione o scusa, non è un comportamento da Hotel stellato. La cucina eccessivamente sofisticata e poco aderente al gusto italiano, nessuna specialità dell'Altoadige, che significato hanno gli spaghetti al nero di seppia in ValGardena? erano buoni, niente da dire, ma..., Carta dei vini decisamente ricca ma poco economica (infatti tutti a pasteggiare a birra nello stile tedesco).
