Location is quite strategic and close to restaurants and surrounded by supermarkets. Plus it’s accessible to the bus stop

The lift is a bit glitchy

Fantastic location with convenient access to mini supermarts, convenience stores, quality restaurants and shops. 5-7min walk to train station. Walking distance to Gion district. Hotel wasn't new but good value, clean and staff was courteous. Buffet breakfast was good too.

Love having laundry facilities - washer and dryer - but unfortunately some guests fail to time completion of cycles, leaving others unable to do their laundry.

Although room was typically small, there was efficient use of space by having a counter and a desk with storage shelves. Good security since needed room key to operate elevators. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection of foods. A Fresco supermarket was steps away and there was a Family Mart across the street.

For this senior couple, the hotel was a farther walk from the subway/train stations and the hop on hop off bus stop than we expected; would use taxis more on our next visit.

There are many restaurants and convenience stores/supermarkets nearby.

The first day of my arrival, I was served by a male receptionist who constantly giving me a “eye rolling “ attitude when he couldn’t find my booking. And they charged me price differently that is stated in booking.com . He mentioned there’s a “staying hotel tax” which costs me additional of MYR3xx . He said it is normal in Japan , but when I moved to another hotel in Osaka on day 5, the other hotel charged me the same amount as stated in booking.com. And there were nothing like a staying hotel tax in another hotel. So please be aware of this hotel’s policy .
