Correct place with old charm for a short stay

Well situated old hotel - ok for a short stay. Rooms are clean and room service staff is very friendly. Bed is comfortable. Size of the room is very correct. Breakfast is simple with no variety to choose (1 type of bread, croissant, juice, cheese) but fresh & well presented.

Badly isolated rooms. You hear voices, steps, water from a neighbor.

It’s a basic, but clean hotel centrally located.

Its location is in center of town. train station is 5 min walk. Room for a single person was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was included in the room rate.

WiFi connection was very bad, almost nonexistent in the room. I had to go to the hallway or to lobby to access the wifi.

Nice location. Our room had view of the Bellinzona’s castle. Breakfast is simple but nice. Bathroom was nice but few electricity outlets were broken. Walking distance from the train station.

The room was on top of the hotel restaurant and one of the walls was neighbouring the restaurant extra room at the first floor. Sound proofing is very poor and you could hear noises from the restaurant (below and aside) from 19:00 until 23-24:00. Also at 7:00 am you have the natural “alarm” from the employee preparing the breakfast. Package some ear-plugs or better to chose another hotel. Being also expensive for a 3 star hotel, also not very good value for money.

Hotel is located right under the walls, the room small under the tower. The opposite rooms had a view of the town and the castle (see photo). The staff offered coffee, cappuccino, and tea for breakfast. Breakfast was less rich but sufficient: bread, cheese, ham, honey, nutella, muesli, yoghurt.

Swiss sockets are not compatible with standard European sockets. In the hotel, they didn't have an adapter, they sent me to buy one. Only one person spoke English, the others only Italian.

Best Pizza 🍕, friendly staff ☺️, great location

They upgraded our room without additional charge. Their pizzaria is one of the best in Switzerland. The rooms were comfy and clean. The location was also unbeatable. Loved it, in a no car street close to the train station and the castles.

There was an event going on on the first floor so it was heard and a bit loud on the second floor where we were trying to sleep but the building is old so no high expectations there. It is nice that they are still putting it to good use.

Great location & restaurant but hot during the summer without AC.

We loved the central location of the property and the restaurant is fabulous! The waiter introduced me to what is now one of my absolute favorite red wines (Sinfonia Barrique Merlot) - I'm forever grateful to him for that on top of the fact that he was just a wonderful host to us;)

The property is a bit dated and there's no air conditioning...makes for rough summer stays.
