Fine for one night, but I would not recommend it for multiple nights, unless significant structural improvements are imp

The hotel’s location is great, close to the train station and within easy reach of the city’s main attractions

The room was generally clean, but the overall experience revealed several aspects that need improvement. The electrical outlets were very limited, and there were no sockets near the bed, making it inconvenient to charge devices overnight. The towels were visibly worn out and damaged, and should be replaced to meet standard expectations. The TV was extremely small, and the only way to fully switch it off was by unplugging the power cable, which is not ideal. After going out for dinner, upon returning to the hotel we had an unpleasant encounter with another guest, which made us feel quite anxious. For a moment we even wondered: “Where have we ended up staying?” Thankfully it was an isolated episode, but it affected our first impression of the hotel.

Difficult parking and small rooms. Initial contact with staff in car park not good, the guy was very rude and unfriendly.

A modest hotel failed to meet even our modest expectations.

Convenient location

Terrbly uncomfortable thin mattress and pillow which management refused to fix. FYI same complaint made by other guests in different room. So uncomfortable and unhelpful that I seriously considered accepting substantial cancellation charges. Fortunately I managed to raid the chambermaid’s linen store so as to get additional soft duvets (as matress pads) and pillows so as to make the beds (just barely) tolerable. But I emphasised that this “solution” was without any action by hotel manager. I strongly recommend against any further bookings until tolerable bedding installed.

A great town to explore but don’t stay here

The location and the staff

The property is passed its use by date no air conditioning no sheet/s on the bed no light shade broken door handle an extremely small elevator very old power point which we could not insert our adapter into . Breakfast basic in a very stuffy room downstairs which was stifling

A comfortable bed for the night

It was so close to the train stations d an easy walk to the old town and castles when we arrived. Breakfast was adequate and fresh.

It was a cold night and doona was small on our bed so we froze. This place is tidy clean and no frills.

Bellinzona is nice for half day walk around but move on and stay elsewhere

Location

Had to wait till 3pm for reception to open, luggage could be stored in dark dingy basement area unsecured with a door open to outside a couple of floors above. Room was unbelievably hot with no fan and unable to leave window wide open due to thunderstorms that went on most of the night. Had I paid 60-70 CHF fir the room I would have been OK but 125CHF was grossly overpriced for a tiny, stuffy room compared to same paid for light airy room in Chur and Ascona.

Best pizza deal

Cosy little room at a great location with friendly staff. And 10% discount in the restaurant! We eat some of the best pizza in years here 🙂 Great views from the room

it deserves better than 2 stars.

The location is great really close to the train station. A staff was nice. the hotel and room was clean and if you stay on the high floor there will be an elevator. it also includes breakfast that easy going. To sum up if you going to Bellinzona I definitely recommend this place.

Comfortable enough, but basic

Location is excellent, right near old city and train station, but it was noisy as our windows were exactly on the train station side. We got upgrade to a room with amazing view though. Breakfast was OK, nothing exceptional, basic but good.

Central location, nicely renovated room, big terrace with the room, good breakfast.

The renovated rooms should also have hanger for coats on the wall and the "Do not disturb" sign to put on the door, just like the older rooms.

decent hotel but very bad arrival

Why are you advertising that the reception is open until 10pm, when there is nobody to man the reception from 7pm onwards? We had to pick the key in a locked box(it worked). Furthermore climbing the stairs in the dark (lights not working) carrying luggage with small kids wasn't what we call a nice arrival. This is dangerous!

the booking said TV but none in the room. the room itself was incredibly noisey from the street/ train station and the lift going up and down so we had very little sleep. Also we were not able to access wifi in the room so had to sit in corridor
