Exceptional
The sorroundings of the Gästehaus are beautiful, and we have not even explored a fraction of the nearby, easy-to-navigate hiking trails. Our host, the breakfast and the cleanliness of our room were just AMAZING. We will definitely come back!!!
We found the bed cushions a bit too soft. I think that this is a matter of personal preference though.

Very good
For mountain hikers a well-located Gasthaus that is very clean and nicely furnished and decorated. It has a quite relaxing atmosphere. Also, host Adelheid is very friendly, kind, and helpful and serves an excellent breakfast. The restaurant next door is quite good and charges affordable prices. The Virgental is not a location for mass tourism and to enjoy it one needs to love nature, hiking, and quietness. If that is the case, hotel Post is an excellent place to stay and from there explore and enjoy the surrounding mountains.

Zentral gelegenes Gästehaus mit netten Gastgebern
Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Ein kleines, aber feines Frühstücksbuffet und für uns war alles da was es für den Start in den Tag braucht. Auf dem Gang hat es einen Kühlschrank, der für alle nutzbar ist und die Lage vom Gästehaus ist sehr zentral.
Schwierig zu sagen, es war recht heiss im Zimmer aber unser Aufenthalt war ja auch in den Sommermonaten. :)
