The bathroom was a bit too small. I barely fit on the toilet and in the shower.

Tolle Lage, wunderbares Essen und sehr herzliche Menschen
Der Gasthof liegt wunderschön im Virgental und eignet sich als Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Wanderungen, ganz besonders auch als Zwischenstation für Wanderungen auf dem Iseltrail. Dank der Gästekarte kommt man kostenlos und unkompliziert mit dem Bus in alle anderen Orte des Tals, zu mehreren Seilbahnen und auch in die schöne Stadt Lienz. Die Küche des Gasthofes ist hervorragend, ich hatte Halbpension gebucht und es war jeden Tag sehr lecker und mehr als ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Zur Begrüßung steht im Zimmer etwas Obst und Wasser (die Glasflasche kann man sich jeden Tag an der Theke auffüllen lassen). Das Ambiente ist eher urig-traditionell. Vor allem aber sind es die Herzlichkeit und die Gastfreundlichkeit der hier arbeitenden Menschen, die den Aufenthalt in diesem Gasthof so besonders angenehm machen. Man fühlt sich jederzeit willkommen und gut betreut. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei euch!
Für mich persönlich war es überhaupt nicht störend, ich möchte aber an dieser Stelle erwähnen, dass es recht steile Treppen und keinen Fahrstuhl in dem Haus gibt. Dies sollte man als ältere oder bewegungseingeschränkte Person vorab wissen.

Tolle Interkunft in wunderschöner Lage
Die Lage, die Freundlichkeit des Personals und des Inhabers, das leckere Essen und die Sauberkeit des Gasthofes sind wirklich hervorzuheben. Die familiäre Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und lädt zum Wiederkommen ein. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut top!!!
