Watch out for double payment !!

We had to pay again for the room however we already had paid for the room on the booking.com site. Now still busy for the refund.... lots of emails....telephone calls....no clearly answers....hotel says that booking has to perform the refund..... the result is still no refund :( .

Staff were friendly and good restaurant/bar downstairs.

It’s basic but what you are paying for. Luckily I left a day before a stage was setup outside the window. Only the cook speaks English but it is Germany so expected but be prepared.

Breakfast OK . Staff friendly. Plenty of hot water.

Hotel needs refurbishment. Quite scruffy and tired. Unfortunately we were woken at 3.45 am by drunk guests returning. Noise continued for an hour. Cost seems a lot more if booked through booking.com.

Affordable friendly stay !

Stayed here for the vulkan bike. 100 meter from the start, couldn't be better. You need to be used to a hotel in a city : noisy sometimes, streetlights shining in the room... Nice friendly staff, will definitely return.

Wifi information in the hotel bundle was not up to date. No pizza on the menu, you should add that !

Way too much for way too little.

The hotel has seen better times. Everything is old, tired, staff doesn't seem to know when to wear masks and when not to were masks, all rather unorganised.

Basic, central location, serves a purpose.

The breakfast was great - a really big choice and very fresh and tasty. The bed was comfortable. Even though, it wasn't really cold enough for heating, the radiators worked so we were able to dry off our clothes when we got caught in the rain.

The worst thing for me was how noisy it was at night, even mid week as my room was above the restaurant/bar. I had to shut the windows to block out noise. There's no reception as such. It was quite difficult to get any information or ask questions as staff at the bar were always busy. The swimming pool does not belong to the hotel and it wasn't that clear how to use it as there wasn't always somebody to ask.

Heel tevreden en voor herhaling vatbaar, goed verblijf qua prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding.

Een prima hotel voor een fijn verblijf in Daun en nabije regio. Goede uitvalsbasis voor leuke activiteiten en bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar, ook fijn dat hij zichtbaar is in zijn hotel. 's Ochtends bij het ontbijt een praatje met de gasten, 's avonds idem dito als we een drankje deden. Nette kamers, schoon, goed verwarmd. Uitgebreid ontbijt, met zorg samengesteld. Je kunt hier ook uitstekend eten, gewone gerechten, een pluim voor de uitgebreide cocktailkaart. Gezelligheid in het restaurant/bargedeelte. Gelukkig gewoon geopend tijdens de kerstdagen.

De badkamer is wat aan de krappe kant. Desondanks net en heel schoon, eigentijds.

Das Personal war super freundlich vor Ort. Das Zimmer war Sauber . Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es genug . Das Frühstück war ausreichend und auf Nachfrage wurde auch direkt aufgefüllt.

Telefonisch war der Gastgeber nicht zu erreichen. Es gab Defekte im Zimmer wie Lampen. Die Toilette war sauber aber hatte Ablagerungsspuren was man ändern sollte. Nachts gab es sehr Laute Musik im Hotel und ständiges Stühle Rücken ,was entspanntes Schlafen nicht zu ließ

Gute Lage, sauber und sehr freundliches Personal

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. An der Bar wurden wir freundlich von Servicepersonal empfangen und auch schnell bedient. Der Chef ist sehr kontaktfreudig mit den Gästen. Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig. Die Lage sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Ein sehr nettes Örtchen. Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden.

Die Nähe an der Einkauf Zone. Herrliches Frühstück. Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Sehr nettes Personal.

Die Betten rutschen auseinander. Der Aufzug ruckelt. Leider kein Zimmer für Behinderte.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, de bedden lagen heerlijk en de kamer zelf was erg schoon.

De kamer had geen verduisterende gordijnen waardoor er s’morgens veel licht in de kamer kwam. Helaas was de badkamer van zowel ons als van het andere stel waar wij mee samen waren niet schoon genoeg om in te douchen..

Die Sauberkeit auf dem Zimmer war sehr gut, damit sind die positiven Punkte für das Hotel aber schon aufgezählt.

Alles in Allem ist das Hotel komplett runtergerockt und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist eine Frechheit. Die Freundlichkeit beim Einchecken war mehr als unterirdisch. Das Bad für ein Doppelzimmer mini, 2 Personen können sich unmöglich gleichzeitig fertig machen. Wer beim Frühstück auf lauwarmen Kaffee aus dem Thermobehälter, Wurst und Käse in Discounterqualität, total versalzenes Rührei und Aufback-Backwaren steht, für den wird das Frühstück ein Highlight sein. Nach einer Rechnung fragt man vergeblich. Habe mich als Gast hier nicht gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in Daun Es ist sehr sauber Das einchecken und auch das auschecken verlief unkompliziert Das Zimmer war gepflegt, das Bad scheint frisch renoviert Es gab frischen Obstsalat zum Frühstück.

Die Brötchen waren scheinbar Aufbackbrötchen ohne viel Geschmack. Der Aufzug ruckelt, fährt aber zuverlässig. Gegenüber vom Hotel ist eine Raucherkneipe, da war es lange laut..

Furchtbar! Einmal und nie wieder!

Das Hotel ist alt, dreckig und in einem schlechten Zustand. Totale Enttäuschung. Das Bad ist eine Zumutung. Hellhörige Zimmer voller Ungeziefer. Die Nacht war schlimm, trotzdem mussten wir die 130€ bezahlen. Wir können nur abraten dieses Hotel zu buchen !

Außergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt zur Dauner Kirmes.

Lage zum Zentum

Hatte leider nicht beachtet, dass an meinem Wochenende Kirmes in Daun war. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben der Musik Bühne am Ortseingang. Somit war an Schlafen nicht zu denken. Dazu kam das sicherlich sehr schöne Feuerwerk…..dass wurde allerdings direkt über meinem Zimmer vom Flachdach abgefeuert. Das war sicherlich einmalig🧐 Also beim Buchen anfragen welche Stadt Events geplant sind. Frühstück und Personal haben am Morgen danach Pluspunkte gesammelt.

Aardige man. Prima bedden. Heerlijke koffie.

Ontbijt was niet zo want de broodjes waren niet goed afgebakken. De croissants waren rauw aan de onderkant. Verder niet heel veel keus. Badkamer erg klein. Als je wilde tandenpoetsen moest het douche scherm open.

Prima hotel langs de Eifelsteig

Hotel gelegen op goede locatie in Daun. Kamer en overige faciliteiten ruim voldoende. Zeer aardig en gastvrije eigenaar en personeel. Goed ontbijt en 's avonds lekker gegeten in restaurant beneden.

Mensen op terras van restaurant waren vrij luidruchtig wat mij enige tijd uit de slaap hield.
