Location, Facilities specially the outdoor pool, but also the Italian restaurant by the pool and the breakfast.

The check in experience was suboptimal, not at the level of a 5 stars. Our room was not ready by when it should and we had to wait hours at the pool after 20 hours flight from Europe. The communication with the staff on this was not effective as well. I was promised to speak with the manager that never happened. We have been given a room upgrade for this inconvenience which I appreciated. Still it didn’t solve the problem of the first day.

The quality and location of the property. The staff at the executive lounge. Especially Sera who very happily sorted out my late check out. The other staff in the executive lounge also provided top class service.

I did not enjoy the provision of water can in stead of plastic water bottles for drinking water purposes. The cleaning staff were hard working.

The Mandarin Oriental displays the best of the best in customer service excellence. The staff whether greeting you as you arrive through to the concierge and all restaurant staff are warm, friendly and best in class at their jobs. The location is perfect for walking everywhere and once you step inside the Mandarin elegance is to be found in every area. We cannot thank you enough for your kindness you displayed in ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our very first time in Singapore. Special mention to the Concierge Kushal for the lovely birthday card you left in our room together with a memento of our stay, it was incredibly thoughtful.
