Good stay

We had a lovely room, very spacious with a very scenic view from the balcony

Lack of food options close by and in the restaurant had to walk further (20 mins) to find food. One incidence of stay dog outside the hotel roaming. Local site was a drive away.

A mostly enjoyable stay in a clean, well-located hotel with fantastic front desk service—but let dow

The hotel was clean and very pleasant for me and my son. Front Desk staff were amazing—so helpful with everything. It's a 10-minute walk to Lapad and about 15 minutes by taxi to the Old City. Buses are nearby, but quite crowded (it was early summer).

Unfortunately, the dining area staff were quite unpleasant, which took away a bit from the overall experience.

Modern, clean, and very friendly – would definitely stay again.

The hotel has beautiful interior design, is newly renovated inside, and very clean and well-maintained. It feels modern and inviting. • The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We felt welcomed right from check-in. • The breakfast buffet was excellent – large, varied, and fresh, with many hot and cold options. • Great location: the ferry terminal is nearby if you take an Uber. • It’s also easy to reach the Old Town by bus or Uber in just a few minutes.

• The soundproofing wasn’t optimal – we could occasionally hear noise from the hallway or other rooms. • The hotel’s photos on Google Maps are misleading, as several of them show what it looked like before the renovation. • The exterior renovation of the balconies is not yet complete, which affects the overall impression compared to the beautifully renovated interior.

Good hotel outside old town with access to bus

the staff were very friendly and so helpful. It is so close to bus stop for buses to Old town. The room was clean and bed was good and good shower and there is a beach close by. Definitely would book it again.

Promote the female receptionist. Fire the male one immediately.

Comfortable, clean, newly renovated room.

Female receptionist was sensational. Male one was dismissive & rude as anything when I kindly asked why the wifi was so terrible, yet he was kind to the older couples who approached the counter just after me (maybe because they were heterosexual & I’m not, just a thought).

Don't eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant

It was a highly disappointing dinner experience due to the attitude and behaviour of both the Restaurant's Manager and the Assistant Manager's. They even tried to blame the young waitresses who actually were very diligent workers, very unprofessional. For a country that relies on tourism, it is shameful not to appreciate the simple gesture of being served with good manners and a smile. Service at this restaurant lacked key ingredients of friendliness, hospitality and service.

Great stay except for the bathroom.

Lovely facility, clean and smartly appointed. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom and the shower were not handicapped accessible. There needs to be a grab bar near the toilet and one in the shower. We found Ivka on an accessible Croatian hotel list so we’re expecting better. As her caregiver I was forced to be with her all the time in the bathroom to avoid a fall, uncomfortable and unnecessary.

5 nights at hotel Ivka

Good value, clean and comfortable, our room was huge with a large balcony. Breakfast was very good with something for everyone. Bus stop 50m from hotel. Walk to old town took about half an hour, too hot to tackle when we were there. If I was coming back to Dubrovnik I'd stay at the hotel Ivka again 😊
