Excellent and unforgettable

A quiet spot in the Rodopi mountains. 15 minutes walk to a taverna in the village. (Not many choices in the taverna but very nice - especially the huge glass of tsipouro) The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and probably enough for 3 people. The hotel is unique in my experience - the rooms are in a series of separate towers in the grounds (each named for a sign of the Zodiac). If you like zany, this place is for you. Nobody really speaks English, but I managed on minimal Greek.

Good experience, except for the pool

Kind staff, nice breakfast, and large clean rooms with beautiful views. We had a very pleasant stay. The little farm is amazing for kids, and the staff were very helpful.

Unfortunately, we booked this hotel mainly for the pool and the farm. However, the pool was in such poor condition that swimming was completely out of the question once we saw it, so we missed one of the two main activities for our little one.

Nemesis Hotel in Greece is such a magical place and truly a hidden gem. Honestly, it’s the best place we’ve stayed at so far. The staff are warm, friendly, and polite, and they make you feel right at home. The rooms are big and comfortable, and the whole place has a relaxed vibe. There’s a lovely pool in a peaceful setting, a smaller pool for kids, some animals to see, gorgeous nature, and amazing views. The food was really good, and every moment here just felt special. We can’t wait to come back!

Great place for relaxation

The location is excellent. You are in a fairyland and feel close to kings and queens from the medieval time. Lots of places to visit nearby using the car - the gorges, the Nestos river, the mountains and the sea. The place is nicely and carefully organized. The room is huge in contrast with the bathroom. The staff is kind and friendly . The pool was opened but did not tried it.

The wifi reception is very bad and the bathroom is quite small. The toilet pluming should be improved as it's draining quite slow. If you have problems sleeping be advised that there are some animals and birds around that make a lot of noise :) . The breakfast is simple and basic, but you are not there for the breakfast :)

Beautiful castle-like accommodation in pure nature

Incredible location in the forest of one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Greece. Lovely and accommodating stuff and one of the best rooms and common areas for relaxing and enjoying nature.

Nice quirky hotel in a beautiful part of Thrace.

In a beautiful area, we loved this quirky hotel in a lovely setting. Very welcoming with a great breakfast. Comfortable bed, good wifi. Ten minutes’ walk from the village of Komnina with the Karagatsi taverna. Great food. We spent a great couple of days here. Well positioned for good walking and drives further into the hills.

Fun quirky hotel. Rooms were spacious enough. Basics all covered. Nice grounds. Very quiet location.

Only potential drawback is the distance to restaurants. I knew that when I booked and was ok with it. 🤗

I don’t recommend it

it was not clean. The bathroom was ok. The balcony was dirty and so were the stairs. The breakfast was basic. The eggs cold and the coffees really bad.

Very nice location , large apartment with a small private teras. Swiming pool with trees, very clean and green area. The "old" towers are very nice , there are many attractions for kids.

Not as good as it looks.

The location is nice and the idea of the medieval towers is original. It's a few km from all the local activities, waterfalls, the Nestos River. Stavroupoli is also a really pretty little town.

The rooms are very simple, basic amenities are missing (a hanger for wet clothes, a toothbrush glass, mosquito nets on the balcony doors, etc.). We had a room with 2 double beds, but there was no door separating the rooms, so it's really just for families with kids. Also the beds are really uncomfortable. On Saturdays there is loud music at the pool bar until after 22 o' clock, so don't expect to have a relaxed and chilled evening in the garden. Also animals are pooping everywhere in the garden, even where people are sitting.
