La Locanda dell'Angelo

We loved that it had two windows, was spacious, clean and had a nice sized shower. It was just a short walk to Roma Termini which was very convenient. Our other rental for the first three days of our trip was so noisy with the ambulances and the police sirens. We were worried that it was going to be the same, but once we closed the windows it was very peaceful. Also, we loved that it had an elevator and breakfast.

The instructions to get in were confusing. I think it was the Italian to English translation. With a little help from some people around us, we figured it out. I am a celiac so I couldn't eat the breakfast, but my husband was happy. Maybe offer some fresh fruit like a banana, or apple would be nice. It would be good to have some place in the process to indicate food allergies. But it wasn't a deal breaker at all.

The reception once inside the hotel was very nice. Breakfast was ok, nice to have coffee and snacky things. Balcony was lovely but it was so hot we could enjoy it only in the early morning.

Directions were a little tricky - building is a little confusing, lift is tiny.

It served us well since we wanted something close to the termini. The bed was comfortable but the room could use some updates. The wall paper was pulling off of the walls and and the furniture is a little old. Air conditioning did not work properly and it fell very warm during the night. It looks much different from the pictures. The bathroom seemed to have been updated but it wasn’t very comfortable. No place to put your toiletries when showering and the curtain in the box does not hold the shower water in very well. Breakfast could be better. Pre packed stuff only, nothing fresh but for the cappuccino. The lady serving breakfast was very kind, I should mention. You take your breakfast in your room and not in the nice common area. Would not stay again.

Air conditioning did not work properly. Hair dryer in the room was very bad. Luckily I found a good one in the closet in the common area which I was able to use.

I informed that I can not use the kitchen after the cancellation free charge date. Also the pillows were very poor
