This sweet little beach house could not have been more perfect for our getaway!Our priority is always 1) patio w/view and 2) proximity to beach, so 100% there. The view from the covered porch was idyllic, with daisies blooming just past the yard, and beach so close. The beach seems to be private also, as there was public access to the east of us with trucks and cars parked on sand (about 3-4 houses down, with posts separating), but not in front of us. Very quiet on our stretch..also, the house is not directly on the main hwy like so many, and there is a quick route at west end of block to behind a small grocery store (1/2 a block), so you don't have to get on main hwy to fetch a missing grocery item! We felt very safe and loved this for last-minute purchases.The house itself, I will describe it as a fun little hippie house, which we loved. If you require fancy digs, it may not be your thing. Everything worked, ac in each room, stove, tv, coffee maker etc..beds were comfortable. Pictures are accurate. Drive into town for tours is not far at all. The West End Marina is also very close, and such a hidden surprise! The food was amazing. We had a blast, and hope to return!

We stayed at this house 2 years ago & booked it again for 9/5-9/8 we enjoyed it. Asked to check in early they told us the earliest was 2:30 which was fine we would have liked to check in at 2 since we got there earlier than expected but it all worked out. There were a few things broken on the deck & fence but i emailed the host & let them know. The only thing i would suggest is if you have guests checking in is to turn the ACs on at least an hour or 2 before guest arrive because the thermostat read it was 95 in the house & it took it awhile to cool down. Other than that we spent 90% of the time on the beach & it was absolutely perfect.
