Everything was easy and wonderful. The room turned out to be spacious enough for a three-day stay. Since we came for tourism, we barely spent any time in the room, even considering the +40°C heat in Florence. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and overall everything was made to a very high standard.
The bed was great. Those who write that the mattress is uncomfortable probably just didn’t walk enough during the day 🙂 We fell asleep on this wonderful mattress within minutes because we were completely exhausted after exploring the city.
The price fully matches the room. Yes, the kitchen is small, but the room is located in a historic building, just 30 meters from one of the best pizzerias. The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo) is only a 5-minute walk away and can even be seen from the corridor window.
We never used public transport because the room is located right in the city center, which makes it possible to walk to all the main attractions in any direction.
By the way, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even helped me with laundry: the washing machine is located in the shared area, and they kindly gave me some detergent so I could wash out a pizza stain 😊
The room smelled very pleasant. Perhaps the owner could tell me what this amazing scent is? I would love to know!
The only thing that made me a little nervous was that, when paying the city tax, I was asked to take a photo of my passport together with a selfie. In my country, scammers often ask for this kind of thing, so I was worried at first, but everything went perfectly and my concerns were unnecessary.
The Wi-Fi worked great, and overall the experience was simply 10/10. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again!
