House is in a secluded group of houses within the forest 5min away by car from the centre of Durbuy. It is quite and if the weather is good you can enjoy the nature from the porch. You can park the car within the property. The area seems safe. We enjoyed the espresso coffee machines and the capsules provided.
We asked for three beds and informed us that we could use the sofa. That would be all right if the provided sheets and duvet which they did not. We opened a wardrobe for sheets but we only found thrown - most probably used sheets within. That questioned my perception of the cleanliness of the property in general but it seemed clean overall.

De verwarming stond aan bij aankomst. Dat was heel prettig want het was koud en regende hard. Ook de bedden waren goed. Compleet ingericht met een keuken, tv en dvd speler. Ook was er buiten zitgelegenheid maar niet gebruikt vanwege het weer.
De locatie hadden we niet goed uitgezocht: we waren met de fiets en vanuit Durbuy was het nog ongeveer 2 km (steil) omhoog uit het dal van de Ourthe. Er was een keuken maar geen waterkoker en geen theezakjes. Wel een Nespresso apparaat maar weinig cups.
In Durbuy is geen supermarkt, neem dus ontbijtspullen mee. Op ongeveer 600 meter is er een restaurant van een Glamping bedrijf. Gelukkig maar want voor wandelaars en fietsers is Durbuy daarvoor net te ver.

Het contact met de host was supergoed en heel duidelijk. Ondanks dat het park echt oud, versleten, vervallen, niet onderhouden was, was het duidelijk dat de host zijn best heeft gedaan met dit huisje.
Het park: oud, versleten, niet onderhouden.
Het huisje: duidelijk ook versleten, vloer lag scheef, alles was aan vernieuwing toe.
Maar: duidelijk best gedaan om het er gezellig te maken.
