Locatie, comfort, bereikbaarheid, hygiëne. Aardige en goed bereikbare eigenaresse. Prima plek om te verblijven in Kyoto. Fijne bakker tegenover en koffieplek ernaast. Goede horeca en 7-eleven in de buurt.
De trap: erg smal en onhandig met peuter. Maar dat is ook het enige. Verder helemaal prima.

I really appreciated the kindness of the hosts. They informed me that the day I was leaving Kyoto, there was a big festival and they allowed me to change my reservation so I could experience the festival. They didn't have to do that, so it was something that really made me feel welcome. As for the property, it is very cute and welcoming. I loved the Japanese style rooms and felt really cozy spending time in them after a busy day.
The only down side of the place is how narrow and steep the stairs are. However, that is the nature of the type of building. If you have mobility issues, that may be a problem for you.

Authentic Japanese style house with all amenities, very comfortable, clean and close to everything. Rieko was amazing and gave a full introduction. Highly recommend for your stay in Kyoto!
Stairs to bedroom were quite snug and bathroom was on the ground level - bedroom upstairs
