From the tea pots to the matt floors to the beautiful beds, this was the best experience we could have hoped for. The owners were simply amazing and waited on us hand and foot to ensure we had everything we needed. This was an authentic and luxurious experience. We were able to walk to everything we needed; great coffee shops, restaurants and shopping!

The location is great and quiet, the place is clean and tidy with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets
The staff are not always available, we had a problem with one of the toilet bidet and we had to wait 1 day to be fixed (the staff were helpful and did their best to fix it asap), limited towels but you can request more of the next day when the staff comes

Authentic Japanese stay in a quiet neighbourhood that is walking distance to Nijo-jo Castle, Nishiki Market and so much more. Comfortable for a party of 4ppl. Staff are lovely.

Nice local neighborhood and good bus and train connections. Bakery 3 min away, grocery store 5 min away, several small restaurants geared towards locals just around the corner.
Very small for a group of 5. The house is not as new as in the photos, and everything feels small. Only 4 plates in the kitchen, and not realistic to cook or even reheat food. Washer in the house takes hours to do a cycle and there is nowhere to put things to dry.
