What a perfect place to start our trip in Normandy. Marie-Christine is a charming and welcoming host, who did everything possible to make our stay in Rouen perfect. She is truly one in a million!! Beautiful, well equipped apartment in historic house in the very center of Rouen. Everything far beyond expectations! Hosts were amazing. Caring and accommodating. Suggestions for restaurants were reliable and inspiring. Could not imagine a better place to stay in Rouen

Exceptional

If you're looking for a place to stay in Rouen, don't look any further, THIS is the place! Perfectly located in the centre, close to everything but quiet at all times, parking is possible in various public garages nearby. The building where the flat is located is one of those historic buildings you see in the pictures, but once you enter, it's even more beautiful than expected, and decorated with care and taste. The flat is spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean, you can clearly see that a lot of thought has gone into every single detail. Breakfast is plentiful and prepared with love, we took it in the owner's stunning living room under the roof, with a view over the city. The owner Marie-Christine is friendly, helpful and has a great sense of humour, her advice and recommendations will make your stay a great one!

Wi-fi can be a bit spotty, but it wasn't a major issue for us.

Lovely and caring host with a wonderful appartment

The host Marie-Christine is simply the best owner we have ever met ! She is warm-hearted, likeable and truely caring! We had an issue with our car and she cared a lot about us and offered to help us. The appartment is cosy decorated and well-equipped and directly located in the old town of Rouen. Breakfast is served and a bit amended day by day by Marie-Christine and she always gives some culinary recommendations as well.

Light, bright and wide

- The location and having an appartment in this old house (in style renovated) - it was very spacious - bathroom perfect (bath, shower, bidet, washing machine, soft towels, fohn, space) - bed slept so well - we loved the interior style: light and bright like the hostess Marie- Christine 😆 - everything was there ( new and enough kitchenstuff, cosy couch, perfect light plan, books) - super clean and the noise of the busy street we didn't here (double glass) - as a bonus: the breakfast!! Tasty, healthy and various. We come back in the fall!

Prima verblijf midden in het oude centrum van Rouen op steenworp afstand van de enorme kathedraal.

Midden in het oude centrum op ca 5 a 7 minuten lopen vanaf de parkeergarage. In het centrum staan vele grote en zeer mooie religieuze bouwwerken die een bezoek zeker waard zijn. Historische bouwkunst ten top. Wij waren in sept waar er op vrijdag en zaterdagavond een indrukwekkende lichtshow op de gevel van de kathedraal wordt vertoond. De vrouw des huizes bestiert deze kamer op de eerste etage met veel vriendelijkheid en enthousiasme. Ze geeft tips over de stad. Ze spreekt goed Engels. Het is een middeleeuws pand dat van binnen er modern uitziet waarbij de oudheid van het pand zichtbaar aanwezig is gebleven wat de ervaring bijzonder maakt. Compleet met keuken, ruime badkamer, aparte slaapkamer en ruime zitkamer. Ontbijt is in de woonkamer van de familie waar de gastvrouw erg enthousiast is over het huis en wat ze bij het ontbijt serveert. Neem er de tijd voor, daarna trekt ze zich terug naar een eigen ruimte zodat je wel prive kunt ontbijten. Logeren op dit adres is zeker een aanrader als je er voor een paar dagen bent.

Dass Lachen die beste Medizin ist, ist Marie-Christines Lebensmotto, das sie auf uns übertragen hat. Sie ist die beste Gastgeberin und Fremdenführerin, die man sich vorstellen kann und auf ihren Zitronenkuchen muss man schon neidisch sein. Vielen vielen Dank für unseren Aufenthalt , wir kommen gerne wieder. Wenn 11 Punkte gingen, hätten wir die auch vergeben. Ein wunderbares, individuell zubereitetes Frühstück mit selbst gemachen Köstlichkeiten und wunderbare, lustige Gespräche.

Un séjour enchanteur dû à la qualité du logement et surtout à la gentillesse des hôtes.

Logement dans un bâtiment de style dans une des plus belles rues de Rouen, très calme le soir, si bien située de tous points de vue (commerces, restaurants, musées, cathédrale; églises, parking...); un accueil si sympathique des propriétaires, toujours disponibles et non avares de leurs connaissances de la ville qu'ils partagent avec passion; un studio super équipé; un petit-déjeuner très soigné préparé avec soin... J'arrête les éloges car il faut tout de même que vous bénéficiez de l'effet de surprise et d'admiration à votre arrivée. C'est bien plus qu'un hébergement!
