Charming home with a beautiful sea view

Beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea from your private deck. Just a short 15 minute walk to Old Town. All of the comforts of home, including fresh sweet bread on arrival. Very welcoming and helpful owners.

Our stay was about as wonderful as anyone would hope for. Our hosts were charming and did everything possible to make our stay and transit to and from the airport effortless. The apartment was exactly as pictured and meticulously clean. We had the best balcony overlooking toward the city and coastline. Better yet, it was to the side of the apartment and so shaded in the afternoon and evening but still maximizing the view. It’s a 20 minute walk to the Old Town but it’s not complicated. Given the crowds nearer, you will be very glad you stayed here!

Nice apartment and lots of help from hosts. Not so suitable for older people as lots of stairs.

The house was spacious, clean and had a fantastic balcony with a great location. The hosts were amazingly accommodating, friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips on our travel plans and helped answer any questions we had. They both went above and beyond what we would hope for. The garden was great and nice to look around. I will miss the hosts and Dubrovnik.

This is a lovely two bedroom apartment with a second small bathroom off the hallway, which is ever so useful. The living room is cozy and elegant, and the view is beautiful, which you can enjoy from either of two balconies, both with chairs and a table. There are two small markets nearby where you can get everything you will need to cook dinner. One day I was looking for chicken breasts, and though I was too late for the fresh ones, they still had frozen ones, which were perfect. Noemi and her husband are welcoming, thoughtful (thank you for all your special treats Noemi), and extremely helpful with great information about the area. You do not need a car for Dubrovnik (and parking is impossible), but if you do have a vehicle, your hosts will ensure that you have a coveted spot in which to park your car.

This is a very roomy apartment with wonderful access to outdoor space. Noemi and Vlaho were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful with arranging transportation and out of town excursions. I would definitely recommend this property to others!

First was the friendliness of our hosts. We were greeted with warmth and kindness. It was clear that they wanted us to have a most pleasant stay. Secondly, their house is lovely with plenty of space. A fine kitchen, comfortable living room and balcony perfect for having a meal while enjoying a wonderful view all contribute to a great travel experience. And the garden here is very attractive. Thirdly, this is a good location. It is an easy walk to the Old Town. Although we never used a bus, I believe that it is easy to do so. A bakery and necessary groceries are nearby. We were also able to walk to the fish and green markets. We can certainly highly recommend Apartment Lise.

We were on our first trip to Croatia and the welcome we received from Valo and Noemi was lovely. Valo picked us up from the airport, giving us great info about the Old City and the country as we travelled about 20 minutes from the airport to the home. When we arrived we met Valo's lovely wife Noemi. We saw round the property, received baket treats, were shown how everything worked and left to get settled with an open invitation to call down for coffee at any time - which we did on a couple of occasions. The host really made this part of our trip, guiding us with info on the area, recommendations for restaurants, bringing us to the port on 2 occasions, helping us decide the best route to go on the second part of our holiday to split, arranging tours for us and bringing us back to the airport for our final destination. Thanks to you both.. Re the property, the house is spotlessly clean and about a 15 minute walk into the old town. You can make the journey shorter by taking the bus part way. There are amazing views of the mountains, you can see the cable car going up and down, and the sea views are fabulous.. I would recommend this property as a great base and the welcome you receive will make the trip a great memory. We hope to be back.

Lovely place, within walking distance to old town. The Lise’s are very eager to share their knowledge of Dubrovnik and he’ll you plan your stay there.

Very welcoming hosts with Vlaho picking us up at the airport and dropping us off at the catamaran and Noemi welcoming us in with pastries, coffee and juice. The apartment was spacious, meticulously clean and the views were amazing!!! Highly recommend Apartment Lise!

This apartment easily deserves 5 stars , it is ideally situated within walking distance of the old town and restaurants. The views from the balcony are stunning. The hosts, Vlaho and Noemi, are the loveliest people. Vlaho picked us up from the airport and from the minute we met he gave us so much information on the area and how to get about. On arrival Noemi had made us cakes and we felt very welcome. They sorted excursions for us and even drove us to the port for our boat trip. I would highly recommend a stay here and we would love to return in the future to apartment Lise .

We spent a week at Apartment Lise with our 2 teenage sons and really enjoyed staying in this lovely property which had sea views from both our balcony in the main bedroom and the lounge. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and left with juice and cake to settle in - what a welcome to Dubrovnik! We also were invited for coffee so that Noemi and Vlaho could help us organize car hire for us to tour a bit more of Croatia on our last day which is really worth it if you want to see the fantastic coastline. The apartment is fantastic with a large fridge freezer, washing machine and air conditioning in the bedrooms and the lounge. It's location in Dubrovnik is ideal for either catching a bus into the Old Town or the New Harbour with the beach within walking distance. Be prepared for lots of steps in Dubrovnik but it is truly a beautiful city and staying in this apartment made our week just perfect! Thank you.

Vlaho and Noemi have a wonderful home in a central location between old Dubrovnik and Lapad. Pleasant walk or quick cab to either end. Their helpful but not intrusive demeanor is perfect, and both are charming and great hosts. I was there with my family of five and we had plenty of space to spread out when we were not touring the incredible Dalmatian Coast. Comfortable beds, great view, lovely restaurants within walking distance. Also a well-stocked mini-market just down the steps to the main road. Five stars well deserved for this excellent home! Enjoyed coffee and sweets with both of them!

A very spacious and clean apartment with washing machine , fridge and cooker etc. Very well situated for walking to the Pile Gate approx 15 minute walk. The harbour again about a 15 minute walk. We walked everywhere for our 4 day stay. Noemi & Vlaho were the perfect hosts, home baked cake from Noemi. Vlaho arranged our transfers and boat trip of the islands even dropping us off at the harbour. Advised us best way to reach the bakery shop and grocery store just a short walk away and local pub. Thank you Noemi & Vlaho for welcoming us into your home.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very pleased that we chose it. The apartment is large and comfortable. The balcony is particularly nice with excellent views. You can walk down to the old town easily, but the journey back is a gentle uphill walk, although you can easily get a bus. The owners were charming and helpful and spoke good English.

We stayed in Apartment Lisa . It was well located just outside the old city but close enough to walk there . A small grocery store and a bakery were a short walk away and the Magellan Restaurant served lovely meals . They had a good selection of local wines as well. Noeme and her husband were very helpful and hospitable ,picking us up from the airport and delivering us to the Port on our departure . The apartment is set up to live and cook in if you desire . The day Dubrovnik card is good value as it includes 24 hour bus travel which after a day of walking the city was great. Thank you both for making our stay an informative and pleasant one . We had a great stay. The hosts were lovely, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The accommodation was nice and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

This apartment was about a kilometer from Old Town Pile Gate (walking downhill thankfully). It is near a couple markets, a bakery, a bus stop, a few restaurants, and a kiosk to purchase bus tickets. It has a lovely view from the windows and decks. It has all the amenities from American coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher stove, oven, amazing water pressure, washing machine, etc. BUT the absolute BEST thing about it is Noemi and Vlaho Lise. What a wonderful, kind, helpful, accommodating hosts! We really enjoyed spending time with them in their garden downstairs of our unit talking to them and enjoying coffee, snacks, and their stories! Vlaho picked us up from the airport when we arrived and Noemi greeted us with sweet treats and orange juice and gave us an introduction to Dubrovnik. We spent the next day touring and had pastries waiting when we returned that evening. They helped us navigate tours and tickets and Vlaho dropped us off at the docks when we left. We highly recommend this excellent property, thanks to Noemi and Vlaho Lise.

We enjoyed our stay at Apartment Lise. It is located within easy walking distance of Dubrovnik Old Town. The apartment itself has everything you could need with great views. The only down side was noise from the next door neighbours late into the night, I don't know if this is a regular occurrence or a one off.

We found this apartment really comfortable and enjoyed it immensely. It is not 5 star modern hotel style, however it feels like a home and we really enjoyed that. The hosts are super friendly, we received lots of advice throughout our stay on Dubrovnik and other local attractions and they are clearly very passionate about Dubrovnik, and our children were always offered treats from our hosts. The apartment was very spacious, the AC worked great, strong Wi-Fi, dishwasher and washing machine worked well, good fridge and kitchen, and bathrooms were great. We didn't make use of the garden or outdoor space but it looked great too. We have no complaints, our hosts were great and we loved the apartment. It also has parking.

From the moment Vlaho picked us up at the airport, we knew we had made a great choice. He carried our bags to his car, gave us a quick tour to show us where things were located and then we arrived at Vlaho and Noemi's home with the apartment on the upper floor that gives that wonderful view of the Adriatic. Noemi had baked a cake and they offered juice as well. Noemi is a charming host with a wonderful sense of humour who used to work in the tourist business. Having coffee with them as often as one can just enriches your stay in so many ways. 4 days was about right - 1 for Lokrum, 1 for the Old City, 1 for the islands and 1 for . The apartment was located in Lapad outside the Old City which was the right choice once we saw people struggling up and down cobblestoned alleyways where no cars were allowed. We were able to walk in within 15-20 minutes. There is a hill but there are stairs and hills everywhere in Dubrovnik. Noemi and Vlaho suggested we spend a day on Lokrum, another good call. We hiked all around, took a picnic lunch, swam, and enjoyed the boat trip from the Old port. Your boat ticket includes entrance to the Nature Reserve. We ate out at Magellan in Lapad - wonderful black risotto, again another suggestion by Vlaho. He suggested a trip to the islands and booked it with a friend, another perfect day, Lopud was our favourite. Vlaho knew we would be renting a car when we left Dubrovnik so he called the agency on his own to find out details, how to get there and then offered to drop me there the day we left. The apartment is way more spacious than the pictures show with 2 full private bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen with dining table, a good sized separate living room, the several wonderful balconies and 2 bathrooms. One was just a 2 piece but with 3 of us ( 2 couples would be fine too) it gave us that extra flexibility. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure always. Every morning Noemi would bake something to offer with coffee. She is so sweet. My DW has a few bugaboos about rentals and one of them is cleanliness - this place was so clean, every corner sparkled, not a speck of dust anywhere. WIFI worked fine and there is a washer in the main bathroom which took us a while to figure out. There were all kinds of tourist books, brochures, maps in various languages that we didn't use but they are available. It was the perfect start to a Croatian holiday with amazing hosts.
