We had a wedding at MolenVliet so location was good being 8min away from molenvliet. The owners and staff were very friendly and kind.
The accommodation and the overall experience was quite overpriced for what you get given. We paid just under R5000 for a two night stay we paid about R4780 for a two night stay. Breakfast was included, I don’t do any breakfast but my partner said the food was okay. The bedrooms are very close together so it can become quite noisy, don’t expect a “sleep in” as you can hear everything from people waking up to having breakfast to arriving home late at night. Check out is as early as 10am. The owners were very sweet and so kind. I just feel the rooms are quite out dated and old and the price is much too high for what Lumley’s place offers. I would have said about R1500 per night would be appropriate for what you get. It was okay as we were only staying two nights but I do feel for what is offered there should be a price drop.
