Highlanders Garden Guesthouse at Arundina Cameron Highlands

Peaceful and serene An escape from the busy streets but so near to restaurants and shops Helpful owners Very clean Beautiful gardens and surroundings

Nothing

The guest house is in a quiet location but close to the town centre. The manager was so welcoming and helpful. He carried my suitcase up to my level 1 room and arranged a car to drive me to the bus station on departure. The bottles of water were a nice touch. I didn’t have their famous toast with Nutella on offer for free. The room was spacious and looked out onto a patio. It would usually be private but there is building happening at present. Although this didn’t affect me as I was out during the days. There’s also access to the lovely garden from level 1. The bed was comfortable. The room and the whole guesthouse was very clean and wasn’t an issue to follow their No shoes inside policy. Highly recommend this guesthouse.

Only a small issue that some of the shower water flows out of the tray onto the bathroom floor.

Good location with comfortable beds and friendly staff!

The guesthouse has a beautiful garden with a swing, a small water feature leading to a fish tank and overall an amazing variety of unique flowers and plants.. Their concept of no shoes inside and low volume felt very refreshing and organic. The bookshelves and overall vibe matched the overall feel.

The rooms themselves were quite small and furnished quite modestly and had a very old vibe, and the bathroom was just adequate. The water pressure wasn't too great and the hot water was just warm tbh.. The man at the reception was trying to be very professional and clear but he was in fact very cold and it felt uncomfortable talking to him.. Although he was kind to my kid, he displayed some very rude behaviour to my family who came over to see our place, including my older parents. We were not making any commotion nor causing any disruption or disturbance but he spoke very rudely and unprofessionally and upset our dad due to his shocking behaviour.. They don't serve breakfast so you have to go find something yourself..
