Viajero Tayrona Hostel & Ecohabs

Great place for people looking to visit Tayrona park and meet other people too! The hostel organizes everyday activities, making it a great place for young people and lonely travellers. The restaurant is good, offering tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is definitely a plus. Rooms are spacious and modern.

In terms of facilities, rooms have a fan but no air conditioning, therefore considering the hot and humid climate of Tayrona, feeling in the room can be a bit stuffy. Also, due to location, amount of mosquitoes is insane, therefore a mosquito net around the beds would add a nice touch. Cleaning of rooms was mediocre. Bear in mind that bathrooms are walk in/ outside of main room.

Yo amo viajero! Ya es la segunda vez que me quedo acá y no decepciona. Las instalaciones son increíbles, la comida estaba demasiado rica, siempre hay actividades por hacer, el staff es súper amable y siempre están muy atentos. Definitivamente volvería una y otra vez!

The place looks nice, the sunset was great. Rooms are clean and perfect size

Instructions weren’t clear when I arrived, they didn’t give me the password for the wifi, neither the bed I was going to use and never replied to my message in WhatsApp after I had to ask someone for the wifi password. The party was ONLY reggaeton till 12 m and it wasn’t a perreo night. Lame! There was a group celebrating a birthday who came just to drink they were the only one staying. I wouldn’t recommend stay if you aren’t in a (wherever) kind of party. Better to come and go.

Felt like a hotel resort with nice pool and beach area

Staff was not friendly at all, felt annoyed every time I talked to them apart from the one guy who showed me my room (and seemed to be some sort of manager). Beds were too short and very hard. Food was not the best, but not too bad either.
