Lorraine and Steve are the most fantastic hosts. They were so welcoming and friendly and they really made our holiday the best it could be. The breakfast in the mornings was always delicious and set us up for the day. The room was comfortable and exactly what we needed.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Lorron for two nights, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the key has a door fob to get in an out of the bnb which was good. We were impressed with the service at breakfast. The games room provided some entertainment for me and my boyfriend in the evening. The rooms had nice tea and coffee facilities and a tv and wardrobe and the dining room is lovely. The room was clean with fresh towels and nice sheets and the location is just a short hilly walk to sandown pier.
The first issue we found and probably the biggest issue for us was the extremely loud bed frame. Every time we moved it would creak and rattle this was the same for other bedrooms as we could hear the bed above us. So the walls were quite thin too. And made it uncomfortable and sometimes difficult to sleep. We would have preferred bigger pillows for a bit more support. Secondly the shower head was small like a caravan shower and really needs an upgrade. My boyfriend felt the toilet was quite small too sit on for a large man and he felt uncomfortable when sitting on the loo. Lastly the food needs spicing up a little bit we still enjoyed it and it was pretty okay and we couldn’t fault the actual service at breakfast lastly shower gel wasn’t provided until the second day but I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up on Saturday. These issues are not major but would have made our stay more comfortable :) the games room could probably use more of an atmosphere or some music to make it more approachable but it’s a good place to play a game of pool in the evening :)
