Carlton Hotel

The breakfast was great plenty of choice for all tastes. I'm not sure about the seagull wandering around the breakfast area 🤔.

The bedroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. But the decor looked a little tired. There wasn't any chairs for somewhere to sit.

Great location, lovely views and staff amazing. Clean, spacious and tidy room. Loved the live piano music during breakfast, a brilliant touch of class! Very close to beach which was a plus with the kids and excellent tourist information point. Very well run hotel.

Needed a slightly bigger quilt cover on the king size bed and shower cubicle was small but fine for what we needed.

Good location and friendly staff. A good selection for breakfast. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Bathroom smelt damp and musty which made the whole room smell. The curtains were light, very thin and poorly fitted so they didn’t block any light. Room was overlooked by rooms in hotel next door so needed net curtains too. I hadn’t been told to check in at the hotel next door, and there wasn’t a note on the door, so was surprised to find no reception in the Carlton and was lucky to see another guest to ask - not a good start!
