The position of the hotel and cleanliness were great as was the breakfast and room attendance. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
The disappointment of the stay was that the hotel closed food services and bar services at 5pm which seemed ridiculous in the middle of August. We did feel a little vulnerable coming back in the evening to a completely empty hotel with just a pass word for entry. We assumed there was CCTV but felt that should anything be disturbed or broken there would only be us there. A very strange set up. It would have been so nice to have come back to a bar and some atmosphere later in the evening.

Lovely location. Hotel was very comfy and staff friendly. Breakfast great choice and fresh.
Beds not great. Small room even though it was deluxe. Tiny bathroom. All adequate but did not match price paid I’m afraid
