Staff were extremely friendly. Location is fantastic. Pools were nice and beds were comfy. Check out very easy.

We were very disappointed with breakfast I'm afraid. I hadn't realised it wasn't included in the price...fair enough, that's my fault so we paid for it extra at £12 each and we're expecting a lovely breakfast as that is not cheap. We placed our orders and when everything arrived it was all lukewarm and only one of each item. A choice of either beans OR tomatoes which is very stingey in our opinion given they are the cheapest items on the menu! Additional items are charged at a pound each or £6 extra for 2 of everything. I'm sorry but £18 for a breakfast where you have 2 sausages/rashers of bacon etc is extortionate, especially when you are staying as a guest in the hotel. Sausages were very basic Richmond-style ones. It filled a hole but we were unimpressed and have always paid less than that for a much bigger/better quality breakfast in hotels around the island. No pastries, not much in the way of fruit etc, just a bit lacklustre. The hotel generally has huge potential but it's in need of a lot of TLC. Peeling paint, shabby bathroom fittings ie no towel rail near sink, windows in bad condition. The wallpaper in the stairway of the annexe is the same one I had in my lounge when my daughter was born in 2003! Outdated and tired.

Furniture in the bedroom very dated. Breakfast very poor, not really catering for vegetarians, only flavoured yoghurt no plain, fresh fruit was hardly fresh, pears were really hard, oranges had no juice. Not much around the location.
