This is an old 4 stars hotel with great views on Capri and on the Vesuvius volcano The staff members are good and very friendly. The location is on the well known winding SS145 road. The shuttle bus will transport you several times per day to the entry gate of the center of Sorrento. You can also walk from the hotel to the center (less than 25 min. active walk on steep paths!). The quality of the breakfast is very poor, especially for the price per night. If the price per night is <150 euro, I would recommend this hotel in Sorrento.

The hotel is situated around 10-15 mins drive from the Sorrento ferry port. It is a small, quiet hotel, run by a small amount of staff who are mostly friendly apart from a little waiter who depending his mood can be quiet blunt and rude, and always mumbling under his voice while taking to you, or walking from you, and never seems happy, especially if you put everything on the room bill and not paying there and then for things. The manager is very helpful and friendly and goes out of his way to accommodate your needs. There is an adequate outside pool, which is clean and tidy around it, with loungers and a few umbrellas. Mostly while using the pool your are either on your own or with the odd person / people, as most are out on day trips. There is a mini bus that leaves the hotel throughout the day and evening to take you into Sorrento and picks you up later. The only problem is that the last pick up from Sorrento is 10pm, anything after this then you are looking at paying for a taxi, which the taxi drivers charge you double (to take you to the hotel and for them to drive back to Sorrento) this can be anything from 20-30 euros. All in all a nice little quite hotel, with everything you could require etc.
The walls seem very thin in all the rooms which we have been told and read on other reviews, and we did find out as you can hear everything going on next door, or in the hall ways etc. From light and socket switches being used, toilets flushing and showers being used, people talking normal volume.
