Sorrento Hills

The views are breathtaking!!! It had absolutely everything we needed and more. The host was the most hospitable host I’ve ever come across.

A bit dangerous to walk to bus stop with young kids. But we got use to it. Not close to town but bus was easy to work out.

We had amazing views and very good supply of breakfast food. Vulvio was so super helpful.

The location was challenging with public transport.

Clean, spacious, beautiful view!!!

Steep steps

The accommodation was clean and spacious, with a large kitchen area and two bathrooms. The accommodation has air conditioning throughout and balcony views of Vesuvius. We were provided with lots of food items, and tea/coffee for breakfast for the duration of our stay. We could access the local hotel and have breakfast there and use the pool. The host was responsive and helpful at every opportunity we needed help and support, and he booked us a taxi for our last day when we needed to catch an early shuttle from the train station. The hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The accommodation would be perfect for a larger group or for a group who have a car.

The accommodation is about 5 miles from Sorrento and despite local buses being easy to catch they do not operate beyond 10:30pm and then the only way to get back to the accomodation is by taxi which cost is €50 per ride. We quickly realised to make sure we caught earlier buses so this wasn't an ongoing issue for us. The accommodation is about a mile from the main hotel and the walk is uphill so again that might not be suited to everyone, particularly in the high temperatures. We managed by alternating between walking and getting a bus.
