Beautiful old hotel that has been tastefully refurbished. Very helpful staff and excellent service. We had a superior room overlooking the pool and courtyard / garden for two nights and it was amazingly quiet, considering we were in the middle of town. The room was spacious, modern and well-appointed with an extra wide bed (7 feet). The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was large and very well equipped. The room was very clean and the air conditioning very welcome as it was 32C outside. The full breakfast (€22) had a comprehensive choice of items or you could have an express breakfast (€9) of a hot drink, three pastries and juice which we thought was good value. They supply pool towels and while the pool is relatively small, it is a lovely option with comfortable seating around it. We swam in it twice and were happy to have the opportunity in the heat.

The hotel was brilliant. Friendly welcome, the rooms were so clean and fresh with a pretty view. The bar area was lovely. Location was perfect for us, easy to get to and in easy walking distance to all the attractions/parks and train station.

Trying to charge my card over twice the total cost for the stay was unacceptable.
33 Euros for two drinks is ridiculous. Didn't buy anything elsebin the hotel.
