Solid hotel with good staff

I was allocated to a very noisy unit, probably close to a machines room or something. There was noise 24h day.

Will NOT stay at this Marriott again.

Breakfast was fair. Food was not hot when brought to the table. Service was slow considering there were very few people in the restaurant. In fact, at times we were the only people.

Very disappointed there was no pool. Staff not friendly. Not asked how our stay was or if we needed anything. Taking into consideration we've stayed at other Marriott's, this one did not meet the standards we were accustomed to.

Comfy hotel, good for short business trip but bad location

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Reception and cleaning staff made a real effort to make you feel welcome. The room was nice and the beds comfy. The lifts were quick and wifi also was good.

Breakfast was fine but the lunch wasn’t so tasty. It would be ok if there were some nice restaurants at street level but this was the main issue for me, the hotel is right on a very busy highway so constant traffic which means it is very hard to walk anywhere.

I left my toiletry bag in the room when checking out. I called back to the hotel the same day to find out if they had found it. After calling 4 times on the same day I was informed that I needed to call the next day since they needed to check with the cleaning crew. Called at 9am as I was informed and I was told that they had the bag. I rushed over to the hotel to be told that they did not had my bag. I was really upset with the lack of communication within the hotel crew. I know it's my fault by leaving the bag behind but why did they waisted my time? I had to make it on time to a wedding and I needed what I had in the bag. The front desk employee had no idea what was going on. So poorly handled by the hotel.

Wonderful staff, in particular Mario Cruz, Cristina, Araceli and Oscar at breakfast, and Marcela for room cleaning. Spacious room with good view of the city and very comfortable.

Really nice facilities, went for a dance event hosted at the hotel, would have stayed there even if it didn't have the event happening there! Close to metro station so easy access to more of the city.

despite the fact that we had offered a garantee the hotel charged in advance for one night and failed to recognize this at the moment of check out and charged again for the whole stay. as a result we had to complain because this charge was made without notice and caused an unbalance in our cashflow for our trip. at this moment we are still waiting for the reimbursment of the amount paid in excess, (one night stay)
