Breakfast was great, location was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful - even to non-guests of the hotel. There was a heater in the bathroom that worked!
I felt the room was lacking in a few aspects. For example it was smaller than shown in the pictures, there was no floor mat in the bathroom, so we had to use one of the towels. The power points were not easily accessible, there were only 2 clothes hangers in the closet. There was no mat inside the door, so we had to wipe our shoes outside.
All of these are minor points, but I believe for very little cost, a big increase in guest comfort is possible.
There was one thing, I really didn't like and that was the "piped music" at 7:00 in the morning. That was quite loud and imposing. Please fix

Wonderful little hotel in old maison with anexes. Each room unique. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant also popular with locals. This time the restaurant was hired by a party, but the staff had for their hotel guests free coliflower soup, sallad, bread and coffe. Breakfast with a lot of warm options.
Locations close to tourist attractions and transportation.
The only thin I did not like was the pancakes. Cold, tasteless. Not even cream and strawberry jam could help

Its location was ideal, convenient to reach on foot from the station and close to the museum and to the marvelous historic castle in Kalmar.
We slept well as the hotel was blessedly quiet.
The buffet breakfast was excellent.
The staff were courteous and accommodating when we needed to store our bags for the day.
