Excellent, comfortable stay - close to New Street station and ICC

Breakfast was excellent . Room was clean, modern and comfortable - lovely shower room. I also did some work on the 1st floor (near reception and the dining space) and wifi was good. Excellent location for coming into New Street and getting to the ICC - would stay again.

Great location, fab hotel stay!

The hotel was very well situated from New Street Station, taking around 7-10 minutes to walk there. The reception area was well lit and clean, it had a lovely fragrance that both me and my sister commented on! Check in was quick and the member of staff was very polite and helpful. We got a great room on the 17th floor so enjoyed the views of Birmingham. The room was clean and well appointed for a single night's stay. We really liked the Dove hand soap in the bathroom! The mattress and pillows on the beds were really comfortable.

Sometimes there was a delay in the lift coming to the floor, one of the lifts didn't appear to move from the 16th floor the entire time we were there which caused a little wait. This is a very minor niggle and didn't affect our enjoyment of our stay at all.

Had a really good stay here. The location is definitely the highlight it’s close to everything and made getting around so easy. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend it.

We stayed in a family room as a group of three adults. While the space was quite tight, we managed to make it work for our stay. However, a few things could be improved: the breakfast selection wasn't very hot and seemed to need more frequent refreshing. Additionally, we had some issues with the toilet not flushing properly. Fine for a short stay, but some maintenance is needed.

Great until a 3am evacuation

Hotel is in a great location. It was immaculately clean and the staff were helpful with checking in and checking out. Breakfast was incredible

Stayed here in July and randomly during the night thw fire alarm went off for a few seconds. Didn't wake me up but woke thw wife up. We thought give the benefit of the doubt. Stayed last night and the fire alarm went off again at 3am causing an evacuation. No staff were outside telling us anything no head counts were taken so we were just left outside with our child in the freezing weather. Such a shame as apart from this the hotel was a great find but the way it was all handled this morning has made my daughter adamant she won't stay again and to be honest we wouldn't take the chance of another disturbed night and standing outside in the cold and wet.

It was clean and comfortable and had a service where if you had forgotten something like toiletries you could get these from the staff.

Only had a choice of scrambled egg for breakfast. I don't like scrambled and would have liked fried or poached.

As soon as we approached the front desk Micheala was absolutely pleasant. She made us very welcome and did her best to make us accommodated

The carpet in the room was horrible and the was a questionable brown stain. It really could do with a good clean. Im not a fussy person and not one for complaining but I wouldn't risk my bare feet on that carpet
