It was old and had character it was clean and tidy
Dog friendly rooms were not at front of building with a garden view they are all located at the back

The staff were very friendly, good value for money, rooms were clean and tea and coffee facilities were good in the rooms. Staff were kind to my dog and always offered him food and water. There was poo bags, a dog food mat and a towel in the room.
The decor in the hotel area was in need of updating. The room was hot and if you open the window the extractor fan for the kitchen was really loud in the morning. Shower was coming away from wall and was temperamental with the hot water. Mattress was very lumpy at the bottom.
No walks from the hotel with the dog as there were no pavements so had to drive.
The tables were limited in the dog friendly area so had to have a table in the bar area which made me feel self conscious.
