Great Duplex Apartment in Alfama with AC

We entered using the door codes provided. No issues at all.

Honestly the apartment was just fine for my wife and I and the fact that it had air conditioning was great since Lisbon is hot. I would caution elderly people or people with difficulty walking up steep inclines to think twice before booking into Alfima but what I liked about this apartment is that it is close to the flat waterfront area so the distance to carry bags uphill was short. This apartment is not accessible by car/taxi.

Great location. Place in front of the apartment calm during the day and in the evening terraces are being build and it becomes a great ambiance. With doors/windows closed you do not hear it inside the apartment. So best of both worlds. Great flexibility of the owner of an early check-in and guidance to store luggage last day (Luaggeghero location only 75 meters away, downhill).

We knew upfront but toilet is in the bathroom. We were with 3 (parents and one daughter of 19) and separate would be preferred. But not a big issue :-)

location was great. the rooms are clean and amazing. we enjoyed our stay here so much. we have been in Portugal for twenty nights, but this place was the best.
