Lovely room, clean, comfortable and great value. We buzzed the door when we arrived and the friendly team let us check in early. I was worried about the reviews but our room was perfectly quiet, we stayed on a Tuesday though and the club downstairs was closed. Would definitely stay again, it's a great spot.

Location was brilliant and staff lovely.
Was noisy until 2am and we were on the top floor which was difficult for over 60s with suitcases.
Bathroom needed shelves or more space to hang or place toiletries.

The hotel is perfectly located for the middle of the old town city making it very convenient for all York attractions. The shower was nice, entry was very easy, and it was convenient to store our bags on check out.
Unfortunately the central location means that it is very loud late into the night. Additionally the bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy. There is no one at the desk and you see no staff in the hotel during your stay.
