Beautiful location on the shores of Loch Sunart. Stunning views from the front of the hotel, even on a dull day. Lovely old building with a lively bar and restaurant. The food was excellent! Friendly, chatty staff who were very accommodating and helpful .
We had the twin room at the back, which was nice except for the beds, which were a bit dated and wobbly. If the screws on the bed were tightened and the mattresses replaced, there wouldn't be a problem.

Position ideal. View from bedroom lovely. Staff friendly.
Breakfasts very disappointing ……watery undercooked egg and sausage that tasted only of preservatives. I gave up on cooked breakfasts after first morning ( and we stayed four nights) Evening meals disappointing too except for fish and chips…..that meal was good.
