Lovely location ,lovely island to explore,Friendly staff Good room and lovely breakfast

More choice on dinner menu and Wines were expensive

Attentive staff, lots of options for things to do on the island The hilltop reserve cottage was PRIVATE, well-equipped & comfortable The beach and walking trails along the waterfront were scenic.

Access to the hotel was down a single lane road that desperately needed its edges trimmed. Branches were hard on car paint jobs. There were signs of deferred maintenance around the property, although any issues identified were dealt with promptly by the excellent staff. The private hot tub was the the thing I had been looking forward to after a few cold wet days, but wasps foiled us the first evening. These were dealt with the next day while we were out, excellent communication BUT, the next time we found the water was only just warm & the control panel was either locked or not working & we gave up. The heat control in the apartment was not working so it was uncomfortably hot. The hotel provided a property map but it was so out of scale that it was unusable. Even staff could not orient themselves on it to give direction. There was no signage on trails which made navigating difficult.

The wild but safe feeling the island has was enjoyable. Stayed in a hilltop retreat and The fact that you are well away from hustle and bustle and only need to be as sociable as you choose was brilliant . Breakfast Was what you wanted it to be from traditional to the newer more trendy shots. I had a full body massage which was great snd the spa area is once if the nicest I have been to .

The evening Meal was a lot of fluff with little substance .we decided to find alternative evening meal venues
