All the staff were delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful apart from one who was quite rude and made us feel uncomfortable.

Perfect for a short ski trip with friends

Breakfast was very good , lots of choice and great service. Very close to ski shop and slopes and ski bus. Very friendly staff who were very kind and helpful when we got snowed in for 24 hrs. They also provided a cake and candles for a special birthday !

We have stayed in 6 hotels in Obergurgl over 20 yrs. Mathiesn is by far the best value for money in OBG. Rooms superb, food top quality, staff so friendly, location unbeatable. If available, don’t miss your chance to stay there!!
